We, the international sutdents, studying in Newman high school, all carry several notations. From the dream to a American best college, great expectation to a brilliant future, all those have already deeply influence us. No matter what kind of pressure it bring to us, what sort of anxious we could have though those object, we all shall stand out and strive for that. Because we all the fighter, the fighter for our world , family and our self.
On the way to the Vietnam war, Jimmy Cross, Mitchell Sanders All them use their life presenting what could a soldier under the pressure. Therefore, by the book, we ont only could find out how brutal of a battlefied could be, but also remind us that, the life we stand by every day actually is not easier than the place they fight for alive.
Two years ago, I arrived the United States for my American dream. At that time, the dream itself is vague, visualize the exact mean of this word itself seems impossible also. There was a gap between I and the exact object I was searching for. Later time, by a chance I took the place of the dream by MIT, the one of the best college on the engineering field. May or may not, the reason I choose that is because its name is flamboyant which could satisfied my vanity. However, at that time, I have no sense on my blind - hubris.
One year later, I started reading this book, debating in my heart that what is my truly need, inquiring myself, where is my passion overwhlemed? Within the book's page past, my sight got larger. There is no doubt to say , it is my first time get in the idea that my personality has some flaws. Later time, While Jimmy watched the girl he was dreaming for killed his best friend, I stunned, myself, also did. What could a dream, a responsibility, a expectation drives humanity to?
